Once you find the home that is right for you, I help write the offer to purchase. This is a very important step because it outlines the terms and conditions of the sale. And you should always have the assistance of a competent licensed real estate professional who is well versed in North Carolina real estate law and procedures.

When the seller agrees to the terms of your offer, the offer becomes a contract. Earnest money is usually placed with the offer to demonstrate your true desire and sincerity to buy the home. The earnest money is usually 1% of the sale price. After a contract to purchase is pending on a home, it usually takes 3-6 weeks for the closing to take place. Where the deed is transferred into your name/names, and you can take possession of your new home. Closing is a very exciting day for the home buyer.
